Friends, it seems our favorite lefty Phil Mickelson may be struggling with more than just his golf game these days. The notorious social media app Twitter had an absolute field day this week reacting to Phil's latest hair creation, or should I say lack-there-of!

From where I'm sitting, it appears Phil's lush locks of flow are a thing of the past. His barnet on display in Dallas seemed pulled straighter than Greg Norman's stance - a rough, wispy wisp that had me questioning if a new "style" was even intentional. I couldn't tell if this was the handiwork of Father Time's shears or if ol' Phil just decided to give the clippers a go himself after one too many brews. Either way, the results were far from pretty.

The Twitter sphere certainly had their fun, roasting Lefty with jokes about needing a hat even off the course. Some compared him to a plucked chicken - ouch! While it's always been part of Phil's swag to experiment, this time the socials deemed it a complete hatchet job.
As for his play, it seemed Phil struggled as much on the greens as with his grooming. Despite making the LIV Golf Finals team, his score of +4 was the highest by four shots. Sure didn't help calm the Twitter trolls!

While we may not appreciate Phil's new 'do, the good thing is he'll likely be hidden under a lid from now on. Perhaps it's time to stick with classic visors and ball caps mate - keep that thinning situation under wraps! I'm sure his bank account can handle a few rounds of treatments too. Get it together Phil! We're rooting for ya.
Until next time golf fans - remember, it's all in good fun! Unless it's Phil's hair, then it's just no fun at all. Yikes.
