Scottie Scheffler's Record-Breaking Season Earns Over $62 Million

Scottie Scheffler's Record-Breaking Season Earns Over $62 Million

Well, looks like someone cashed their World No. 1 paycheck this year! Golfaq sources can confirm that Scottie Scheffler raked in a WHOPPING $62 mil during his dominant 2024 campaign. And guys, that type of green is absolutely unheard of in golf.

With 8 wins including the Masters and Olympics, it’s no surprise our main man Scottie was cleaning up. But nearly tripling the second place finisher Xander Schauffele $29 million? Sheesh, save some for the rest of us!

What’s even crazier is historically speaking, only 7 golfers have made more in their whole careers than Scheffler’s single season haul. Talk about leveling up your finances - someone is buying a lot of new Nikes!

Of course, with a resume like Scottie’s this year, the big bucks are well deserved. Duded up at all the fancy tournaments and still had enough left in the tank to take the tour championship.

Major congrats to the highest earning man in golf - maybe now he can start buying drinks for the boys at the 19th hole. You’ve earned it, Scottie!

While Greg Norman and his LIV lackeys love flaunting those fat signing bonuses, even their oil money can't compare to what Scottie Scheffler pulled down in pure on-course earnings last season.

With his $25 MIL payday from winning the Tour Championship, nobody has officially taken home more cash from competing in a single season - not even close! The only ones who come close are the deep-pocketed LIVers, but Scottie earned every penny the old fashioned way.

And the numbers behind Scheffler's 2024 just keep getting crazier the deeper you dig. Here are some of my favorites:

  • $62 MIL total in official loot, nearly double Xander Schauffele's second place $29 MIL. Talk about lapping the competition!
  • Averaged over $3 MIL per start and $800K per round. Mans was really raking it in out there.
  • Made over $12k per shot! Now that's the kind of return I want on my short game work.
  • Earned more than the combined totals of the bottom 142 players. Yeah, he left them all waaaay behind in the dust.

Here are mind-blowing money stats from his season:

  • $62,228,357 - That's how much the man made total last season. Enough to retire us all!
  • 7 - The number of golfers who have ever made more in their whole careers. Not bad for a year's work eh?
  • $3,275,176.68 per start. Gotta play more folks!
  • $818,794.11 per round. Wonder how many pierogies Scottie packs for those rounds...
  • $12,039.32 per shot! Gonna need to work on that game if I want returns like that
  • $37,500 for the Olympics - Someone thank Uncle Sam for that payout!
  • $37,500 smallest check. What will he spend it all on??
  • 190 players he earned more than. Not a bad day in the office
  • 48 players who barely outpaced him. Maybe try harder next time fellas...
  • $61,729,067 for the bottom 142. I think we found who's not playing well
  • Passed Jack's career coin in shots or rounds, can't remember which. Sorry Jack, there's a new money leader in town!
  • $5,734,031 - What Golden Bear Jack Nicklaus made. Scottie trumped that before brunch.

Safe to say Scottie had the season of a lifetime between the wins and financing his whole empire. Major props to the highest earning man in golf! Now someone pass me a brewski so we can toast to Scottie and live that money life.
