'Happy Gilmore 2' will be filmed at this Central Jersey golf course, report says

Oh em gee, you'll never believe this scoop I just dug up - Happy Gilmore is trading in his Canadian credentials and bringing his unorthodox swing stateside!

Sources at Fiddler's Elbow Country Club shared with my pals over at GOLF.com that their posh property will be the setting for most scenes in the highly anticipated Happy Gilmore 2. Can you believe it, the one and only 54-hole club in Jersey will roll out the green carpet for America's favorite foul-mouthed faore?

Shooting is slated to start in October and wrap just before Christmas, so residents of Bedminster better get used to dodging wild tee shots for two whole months! The trustees' memo said all three of Fiddler's esteemed courses will be transformed into Happy's personal practice facility.

Looks like some Fiddler's Elbow frequent fliers aren't too thrilled about their club being co-opted by Canada's favorite foul-mouthed fairway basher!

Word on the greens from GOLF.com is three holes will be permanently closed for filming and another temporarily shuttered for two whole weeks. Plus the Forest Course will extend play to make up for displaced members - talk about an adjustment to the usual rotations!

Speaking of adjustments, club officials warn peepers to keep those phone lenses in their pockets. Netflix wants to keep the sequel totally hush-hush! No autographs or selfies allowed, folks. Lame, I know - how am I supposed to get the deets for my column now?!

On the bright side, members stand a chance of crossing paths with more than just Adam Sandler. Word is NFL tight end and golf nut Travis Kelce will be teeing off alongside our boy Happy. And apparently some OG faces from 1996 like Shooter McGavin may return. Nice!

Talk about kismet - did you hear the bombshell details GOLF.com just uncovered about Fiddler's Elbow Country Club's 60th birthday bash?

Sources say the elite estate will be celebrating six decades of golfing grandeur just as Happy Gilmore 2 touches down in theaters next year. And get this - the club's premiere anniversary party will feature an exclusive screening of Sandler's eagerly awaited sequel!

Talk about the perfect way to commemorate six decades in style. I'll be first in line with my popcorn and golf shoes, hoping for a sneak peek before the rest of the world. Wonder if they'll spring for celebratory cocktail called a "Shooter McGrath?"

Speaking of our fuzzy-faced friend, Adam recently dished to the Kelce bros about where Happy's at these days. Seems life has worn down our amateur ace and he's in a bit of a rut. But don't fret - Sandman assured the plot will get Gilmore's game cooking again posthaste!

Judging by the madness of the original, I can only imagine the chaos Happy will stir up at Fiddler's Elbow. Sign me up ASAP for a member-guest pass - you don't wanna miss this sure-to-be iconic moment in golf cinema history!
