Inside the Top 70: Breaking Down Qualifiers for FedEx St. Jude Championship

The conclusion of the Wyndham Championship meant the end of the PGA Tour's regular season, with the top 70 players in FedExCup standings now moving on to the FedEx St. Jude Championship - the first of three playoff events. Let's take a closer look at some of the names who made the cutoff in their quest for a share of the $20 million prize.

World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler leads the way after a stellar season, with reigning FedExCup champ Xander Schauffele and Masters winner Rory McIlroy also locking up top 10 spots. Collin Morikawa and Hideki Matsuyama join the fray. Meanwhile, 22-year-old Akshay Bhatia cranked up his game to qualify for his first playoff series in only his second year on Tour.

Several players play their way into the top 70, including stars like Wyndham Clark, Patrick Cantlay, Tony Finau and Will Zalatoris will be in the hunt. International players dotting the field include Robert MacIntyre, Matthieu Pavon and Victor Perez.
