See Rory McIlroy Absolutely Destroy American Fan Ahead of next year's Ryder Cup

You'll never believe the absolutely savage clapback I witnessed out on the Old Course the other day. My eyes and ears were graced with none other than the presence of Rory McIlroy himself as he was making his way around the hallowed links ahead of the Olympics.

Now as we all know, fans can get a little rowdy on the outskirts of St Andrews. But this one spectator clearly forgot who he was hollering at! From afar, I heard the familiar chants of "NEW YORK LOVES YOU!" being shouted in Rors' direction. But the ice-cold Irishman was clearly in no mood for American affection this week.

Because let me tell you, the response I saw from the four-time major winner was downright ruthless. Without missing a beat, Rory shot the fan with the most wicked side-eye you've ever seen and quickly reminded him "You're not going to love us next year!" OOF. Talk about bringing the banter.

Of course, we all know what he was referring to at next year's Ryder Cup at Bethpage Black. And after Europe's big W last time out in Italy, I don't blame Rory for feeling confident! But something tells me this fiery exchange is just a taste of the nothing-held-back trash talk we're gonna see when the matches come around.

Anyway, you just gotta love seeing these guys keep it real out on tour. Even when they're not 'in competition' it's still incredibly cutthroat. You'll have to tune into next year's matches to see if Rory backs up those bold words. In the meantime, I'd be very careful what you choose to chant if you ever spot him out and about!

Alright folks, you know the drill. Go give Rory some well-deserved hype on social media for that absolute gem of a reply. And stay tuned right here for any other spicy golf gossip I manage to dig up! It's a never-ending source of entertainment in this world.
