ST. ANDREWS, Scotland - PGA Tour officials have announced the tee times for the first two rounds of The Open Championship at Royal Troon Golf Club, with some marquee groupings set to draw plenty of attention. World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler will play the first two rounds alongside major champions Jordan Spieth and Cameron Young, a highly anticipated grouping. They'll tee off at 10:10 a.m. local time on Thursday.

Four-time major winner Rory McIlroy, still seeking his first Claret Jug, will start his tournament Thursday morning at 5:09 a.m. alongside American Max Homa and England's Tyrrell Hatton. McIlroy will look to rebound from a late collapse last month at the U.S. Open as he looks to complete the career at The Open.

Fifteen-time major champion Tiger Woods will return to Royal Troon for the first time since his victory there in 2000. He's grouped with FedEx Cup champion Xander Schauffele and fellow American Patrick Cantlay, their tee time set for 9:37 a.m. on Thursday. Woods' form remains a question mark as he looks to contend once again on the links.

Defending champion Brian Harman will start his title defense at 4:58 a.m. alongside some of the game's rising stars in Viktor Hovland and Sahith Theegala. The opening tee shot of the Championship will be struck by 1997 champion Justin Leonard at 1:35 a.m. Thursday alongside fellow Troon winner Todd Hamilton.

With pristine conditions expected and a star-studded field set to do battle, the stage is set for more links drama at the historic Scottish links this week. Be sure to check Golfaq.com for full coverage of the tournament.
