Read more: Xander Schauffele Takes Home Record Purse at 2024 Open Championship
You'll never guess where Xander Schauffele's trophies have been hiding! According to a hilarious new video released by The Open, it seems our reigning champ doesn't have a single piece of hardware at his own house.
That's because a certain silver fox has been hogging them all for himself - none other than Xander's dad and coach, Stefan Schauffele. In a funny exchange caught on camera after Xander's Open victory, the topic of trophy storage came up. When asked where he'd keep his latest prize, the Claret Jug, Xander responded "Oh, I don't hold any of my trophies, my parents will take it."

His dad quickly jumped in, proudly declaring "the trophies are in a very safe place, and Xander has none of them." You could see the smile beaming from ear to ear underneath Stefan's glorious mustache.
This isn't the first time pops has claimed trophy territory either. Remember that shirtless pic of Stefan last year, wearing his son's gold medal with the caption "I might never give this one back to you @XanderSchauffele." Clearly the man was not joking!
It's great to see the close bond between Xander and his father. While most athletes display their accomplishments proudly in their homes, Xander seems content to let his dad hog the spotlight. Or should I say, hog the hardware! Only time will tell if Stefan ever intends to relinquish his trophy stash. In the meantime, you can probably find Xander's career wins tucked away safely in his father's man-cave.
Thanks for reading and be sure to check out the hilarious video below. Someone get this man a trophy case, STAT!
