The LPGA Tour has landed in Canada this week for the highly anticipated CPKC Women's Open at Earl Grey Country Club in Calgary. All eyes will be on hometown hero Brooke Henderson as she aims to capture her next career title on Canadian soil.

Henderson, now 26, won this very tournament back in 2018 in a thrilling playoff victory. While she has represented Canada with distinction on the Olympic stage and been a model of consistency in 2024, a win has still eluded her. Through 16 starts she has racked up an impressive six top-10 finishes without finding her way back to the winner's circle.

Though world number one Nelly Korda is opting to sit this week out, defending champion Megan Khang is back to defend her title. Khang pulled off an incredible playoff victory over former number one Jin Young Ko last year in Regina to notch her first LPGA tour win.

As the top-ranked Canadian, Henderson will shoulder the hopes of a nation as she looks to break through this week. She'll have stiff competition from the likes of World No. 2 Lilia Vu, who leads a strong international field.

All the top players will be searching for one last strong result before heading into the Olympic break in Paris.

With a lucrative $390,000 prize awaiting the winner, the stakes will be high under the sunny Calgary skies. Fans can also look forward to meaningful finishes lower down the leaderboard, as any player making the cut is ensured to take home a minimum of $5,299.
