The golf tournaments at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris are quickly approaching, and fans of the  game around the world will not want to miss this exciting international competition. Both the men's and women's tournaments will take place at Le Golf National just outside of the city, with many of the top stars from the LPGA and PGA Tour striving for Olympic glory.

 

The men will kick off the Olympic golf schedule from August 1-4, with coverage airing in the early morning hours on Golf Channel before moving to NBC for the final round. American stars like Scottie SchefflerXander Schauffele, Wyndham Clark and Collin Morikawa will be among the favorites. 

 

Then from August 7-10, focus will shift to the women's tournament featuring the tremendous talents of Nelly Korda, Lilia Vu and Rose Zhang as they battle it out for coveted medals. Golf Channel will carry early round coverage each day with final rounds also showing in primetime on NBC.

Le Golf National/ Paris 2024

 

American broadcasting partners NBC, Golf Channel and USA Network, as well as streaming service Peacock, will provide live coverage of all the action from Paris. Golf Channel will have early round coverage of both tournaments from 3-6am ET daily.

 

USA Network will then take over the final round broadcast of the men's tournament on August 4 starting at 2pm ET. Peacock will stream all Golf Channel and USA coverage for those wanting to watch online or on mobile devices.

 

Paris will mark the third city to host Olympic golf since it was brought back to the Olympic program. At the 2016 Rio Games, Britian's Justin Rose edged out Henrik Stenson and Matt Kuchar for men's gold. While in the women's event, American Nelly Korda defeated Japan's Mone Inami and New Zealand's Lydia Ko last year in Tokyo.

 

Fans will have plenty of opportunities to follow all the drama as the world's best golfers battle it out for national pride and coveted gold medals this August from Le Golf National. Be sure to tune into Golf Channel, USA Network and Peacock to catch every moment of Olympic golf action from Paris in 2024.

 

Competition Details

 

  • Format: Both the men's and women's competitions will consist of 72-hole stroke-play tournaments. The top three finishers in each event will receive gold, silver, and bronze medals.

 

  • Participants: Each competition will feature 60 male and 60 female golfers. Notable American golfers include Scottie Scheffler, Xander Schauffele, Wyndham Clark, Collin Morikawa for the men, and Nelly Korda, Lilia Vu, and Rose Zhang for the women.
