Washington D.C.- President Joe Biden will not be accepting former President Donald Trump's challenge to an exhibition golf match, dismissing it as "weird antics."
Can you believe the drama unfolding between Joe and Donald Trump? The gossip around these two just doesn't stop!
Trump had issued the challenge during a campaign rally in Florida on Tuesday, offering Biden a 20-stroke head start in an 18-hole match. Trump said he would donate $1 million to Biden's chosen charity if the current president was able to win.

However, Biden's campaign spokesperson James Singer rejected the notion. In a statement, Singer said "Joe Biden doesn’t have time for Donald Trump’s weird antics – he’s busy leading America and defending the free world."
Singer went on to criticize Trump, calling him "a liar, a convict, and a fraud only out for himself – par for the course." Instead of engaging in Trump's proposed golf match, Singer said Biden has his focus on more substantive issues.
As Singer said, Joe doesn't have time for Donald Trump’s weird antics. His agenda is creating jobs, standing up to dictators like Putin, and cleaning up corruption in Washington - not empty celebrity stunts.

The challenge came after Trump and Biden traded barbs about their golf games during their debate last month. Trump claimed he had won two club championships and said Biden couldn't hit a golf ball 50 yards. Biden responded that he'd be happy to play golf with Trump if he carried his own bag.
Biden says he maintains a 6 handicap in golf, which would place him among the top quarter of all male golfers. However, at ages 81 and 78 respectively, the mental and physical fitness of both Trump and Biden has come under increasing scrutiny as the 2024 election approaches.
For now, Biden appears committed to rejecting sideshows and focusing on governing the country, leaving Trump's golf challenge unmet. It remains to be seen if the two rivals will further debate their golfing prowess heading into the next election cycle.
