Well golfers, it looks like the highly controversial Jan. 6 gala won't be teeing off this week after all! Word on the street is the inaugural "J6 Awards" event, which was set to go down at Trump's Bedminster club, has been indefinitely postponed.
Organizers from the group "Stand in the Gap" had promised an "unforgettable evening" honoring the 20-some MAGA misfits still behind bars for stirring up trouble at the Capitol last year. Apparently those rowdy rioters felt so proud, they even banged out a little ditty called "Justice for All" from the slammer!
But just days before the big bash, the organizers' website now says the fundraiser is bogged down due to "scheduling conflicts." Sources whisper former Attorney Rudy Giuliani was still set to putt in an appearance, along with families of the imprisoned insurrectionists. Clearly they hoped Trump himself would surprise the crowd with an unplanned pop-in, too.

Insiders like Fox Business also got wind something wasn't quite right with the gala's timing last month. And according to reports, the planners have their sights set on rescheduling post-midterms now. Makes sense - maybe by then the backlash will die down and they can tee it up controversy-free!
Word on the street is this postponed party at Trump's place was shaping up to be quite the hot ticket! Low-key thought the '$1,500 General Admission' price tag was hefty, but now it all makes sense...
Sources spilled that a slew of big-name right-wingers and families of the jailed Jan 6 folks were set to show face. We're talking A-list influencers and activists here! The fundraising was meant to "assist" those still facing charges, according to organizers.

Rumor has it Fox Business got an early tee-time and overheard in August that speaker scheduling was all messed up. But reports say Trump himself was expected to put in an appearance - a real 18-hole celeb sighting! No shock mainstream outlets didn't jump on that juicy gossip.
Of course, controversial Don has stanned for freeing those doing his dirty work on Jan 6 since day one. Not shocked he'd swing by their bash in his honor! Meanwhile, the 78-year-old has his own legal drama on Sept 18 regarding 2016. Yikes...
With the gala now postponed til post-midterms, whispers are something just didn't pass the par for this event. Guess we'll have to wait and see if they can get this controversy back on track. For now, sounds like this foursome is stuck firmly in the rough!
