Did Ya'll See Billy Horschel's Hat at the Open?!
Friends, it was an absolutely soggy Saturday at this year's Open Championship at Royal Troon. The wind and rain were howling so hard even the groundskeeper was struggling to stay upright. But through it all, one man seemed unbothered - Billy "Backwards" Horschel.

That's right, our main man Billy was seen out there on moving day rocking his hat in a way that had the Internet clutching its pearls. Y'all may recall back in 2016 at Troon, Billy caught flack online for turning his lid backwards in the torrential rain. But clearly he ain't learned his lesson!
“I remember I turned my hat backwards about the 14th hole because it was raining so hard,” Then I got blasted on social media for having my hat backwards at the Open Championship.”
While the rest of the field was bundled up in rain suits, Billy strolled the course with his hat on backwards like he was on a Sunday stroll. And get this - he broke the course record with four birdies on the front nine to get to six under. Guess having superior vision in the monsoon paid off.
When asked in the interview room about his controversial choice, Billy didn't mince words. "If I remember correctly, I think I've seen Tiger do it plenty of times." he said. He also reminded folks he's not the same player he was back in '16. Nobody can hang with Backwards Billy when the weather gets wild!
“I'm a heck of a lot better player than I was in 2016,” Horschel said, “so hopefully if I was in those conditions then, I could handle it a lot better than I did then.”
It's been the talk of the clubhouse all afternoon. Some say it shows a lack of respect. But most folks appreciate Billy's ability to have fun even when it's freezing cold and you can't see five yards in front of you. He's always keeping it light.

One thing's for sure - nobody was having more fun than Billy Horschel and his backwards hat! The madman is now in the lead as we head to the final round. Something tells me we may see that hat backwards again come Sunday. Stay tuned - it's sure to be a hoot.
