Winner’s Bag: Cam Davis Defends Rocket Mortgage Title With Trusted Titleist Equipment

Cam Davis successfully defended his Rocket Mortgage Classic title at Detroit Golf Club, proving once again that his Titleist equipment setup is a winning formula. Davis carded a final round closing with a 2-under 70 for the tournament and edged out Akshay Bhatia by a single shot.

From tee to green, Davis' entire bag consisted of clubs from trusted partner Titleist. He drove it with a Titleist TSR3 driver fitted with a Fujikura Ventus Blue TR 7X shaft set to 10 degrees. The adjustable driver allowed Davis to optimize his ball flight and find plenty of fairways over the demanding Detroit layout.

In his longer clubs, Davis chose a Titleist TSR3 3-wood (15 degrees, Fujikura Ventus Blue TR 8X shaft) and Titleist T100 3-iron (KBS Tour V 120X shaft) to tackle long approach shots into greens.

For his mid and short irons, Davis turned to a trusted set of Titleist 620 CB (4-PW; KBS Tour V 120X shafts), knowing they would deliver smooth turf interaction and consistent ball striking.

Around the greens, Davis' tried and tested Vokey wedge setup delivered magic as usual. He carried 52.12F and 56.14F degree Titleist Vokey Design SM10, along with a lob wedge (60L degrees) from Vokey's versatile WedgeWorks line. All three wedges were equipped with True Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issue S400 shafts.

On the greens, Davis rolled it superbly with a Scotty Cameron TourType Special Select Masterful Prototype Putter.

He also bagged a Titleist Pro V1 ball, knowing it would provide long distance, shot shaping ability and soft feel around the greens.

Davis clearly had confidence in his Titleist equipment, which ultimately led him to another victory at the Rocket Mortgage Classic. By trusting in the equipment that has served him so well on the PGA Tour, Davis was able to successfully defend his title and add another win to his young career.
