Hey golf fans, it's your favorite gossip gal Emily with some seriously juicy casting news. I just got off the phone with my sources in Jersey and confirmed that Netflix is holding open casting calls for extras in the highly anticipated sequel to the 90s cult classic Happy Gilmore.
That's right people - if you ever dreamed of getting decked in the kissser by America's favorite hot-headed hockey star turned pro golfer, here is your chance! Producers are seeking normal Joes and Janes from all across North Jersey to fill out scenes at the upcoming shoot. No acting experience required, just be willing to take one for the team if Adam Sandler decides to channel his inner Happy.

The first open call is this Saturday August 20th at the fancy Hyatt Regency Morristown Plaza Ballroom from 1 to 8 p.m. But don't worry if you can't make it - you can also try your luck with an online audition. Either way, chances are looking good for anyone willing to spend a few hours on set. The pay is nothing to scoff at either at $176 per 10 hour day as an extra, or $216 for 8 hours with SAG-AFTRA membership.
Who knows, with some luck you could end up on the cutting room floor or even go viral if Happy clocks you with a golf ball! Don't blow this chance to join in one of the greatest comedies of all time. I'll be rooting for all my New Jersey readers. Break a leg out there and please send me all the behind the scenes dirt if you score a role!
